Cockermouth All Saints Church Postcard. Edward Sankey was responsible for the design and patent of his postcard printing machine during the 1920’s. Capable of 1,000 items per hour. J. Halden & Co., licensed it for sale, enabling Sankey to produce postcards for other small publishers. The machine spanned a forty year period. Many of the subjects, included the Cumbriia region. The postcard offered here, is a Sankey High Speed Machine, Real Photo. Has not been posted, but has a short handwritten message on the back.
