Description
H.M.S. Courageous Real Photograpic Postcard, by Gieves Ltd. Published by K, has their familiar logo inside the rectangular stamp placeholder. The ship was launched on 1916, constructed by shipbuilder, Armstrong Whitworth. Then converted to an aircraft carrier circa. June 1924 to February 1928. Eventually sunk by a U-29 on 17th September 1939. Photo has feint surface marks at sky level, see scan to determine. reverse is clean, has not been posted.
