Harrogate Old Sulphur Well c.1909 Postcard. Old Sulphur Well, within the basement of the present building. Queen Of The Wells, Betty Lupton worked as Well Woman. Became a Museum from 1953. Published by Frederick Hartmann,, the London based firm circa. 1902-1909. The company was a leader in ‘Divided Back’ style postcards, and possibly produced one of the first of these kind, in the world. All green logo and type font on reverse. Very clean and tidy, lightly used period postcard.
