- Kingfisher Steamship c.1918 Vintage Postcard. Built in 1906,used as a passenger ferry for the River Thames, in England. Serving, Southend,Margate and Boulogne Services.
- Owned by General Steam Navigation Co., for trips to Calais and Boulogne. Sold on toTripovich & Co. in 1912.
- Company was renamed Venezia, and used on their Trieste-Venice line.
- Later sold to Chinese New Era Shipping n Hong Kong. Broken up in 1938 in China.
- Postcard is in nice, very presentable condition, reverse shows a green halfpenny stamp, posted to an addressee in Highgate London.
