Croydon River Wandle Antique 1911 Postcard. Beautifully cameo inset bevelled border, extending to rectangular flowered detail. Child looking towards the river. Inset shows the River Wandle, with a backdrop as it was in 1911.Reverse has green half penny stamp cancelled, with an addressee in Albion Hill Brighton.Sent from a woman known as Florrie. In good overall condition, front varnishing largely intact. Some surface marking when revealed to light.
