Reference Postcard from Judges, from 1066 Country in Hastings. Less commonly published postcards issued as “Proofs”, carried by the Reps (Representatives) to show to prospective outlets, for approval to retailers. Then returned to the publisher, (hence Rep stricken out, and returned to H.O. Head Office). Notice the undivided back, and company ink stamp. Depending on approval, it would sometimes determine the lengt print run and hence volume still available.
