R.M.S. Queen Mary Cinema View 1949 Postcard. Launched on 26th Sept 1934, making a maiden voyage on 27th May 1936. Constructed by shipbuilder, John Brown Clydebank Scotland. In service between 1936-1967. During World War II, was used as as a troopship carrying allied soldiers.This interior view, shows the first class cinema, as it was in 1949. The ship is now a floating hotel & museum, in Long Beach, USA. A real photographic Postcard, still looking as new. Reverse has a short unobtrusive description of the ship, together with central bar divider.. Has not been posted.
