British Railways S.S. Caesarea 1961 Postcard. Built in the Isle Of Wight, by builder, J. Samuel White in 1960. Nearly twenty years on, sold to Super Luck Enterprises Panama,being renamed Aesarea. Was laid up for some years in Hong Kong, forced ashore in 1981 by Typhoon Ellen. Was refloated and later sold to Phillipines in 1984. Eventually scrapped in 1986 at Kure. Postcard is in very good order throughout. A Real Photo high gloss postcard, sent from Jersey (by persons onboard) in 1961, to an addressee in, Egglescliffe,Stockton-On-Tees, Co. Durham.
