Description
“Engineer”, Cargo Ship launched on 1st July 1908. Originally built by, Swan Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd. In their Wallsend Yard. Then Charente Ship Co. Ltd.,T.J. Harrison of Liverpool. The vessel caught fire and sunk at Lourenco Marques, on a journey from Liverpool to Mauritius, when loaded with general cargo. This is a real photographic postcard, with rectangular rounded borders. Reverse has a central divider and vertical rectangular stamp placeholder. Has not been posted.
