P.S. Lady Rowena Ship Launched on 31st May 1891 and constructed by S. McKnight at their Ayr shipyard. Originally for North British Steam Packet Arrochar Service. Moved to service in Naples Bay during 1903. Subsequently purchased by Collard of Newhaven Sussex in 1908. In 1911 the Dumbarton owners A.W. Cameron, had the vessel which saw service during World War One. As a hospital ship and tender, on the Firth Of Forth. After the war, saw more service along the Sussex coast for a Mr.F.C. Deering. Scrapped in 1922.This postcard is in excellent, lightly used condition. Minor foxing on reverse, has not been posted.
