R.M.S. Orsova 1955 Postcard. Built by Vickers Armstrong at Barrow-In-Furness and launched in 1953. Being owned by Orient Steam Navigation.From 1954-1966, operated by Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation. Then onwards from 1966-1974, Port Of Registry in London. Finally scrapped in 1974. The back of the postcard has a preprinted header which reads: “On board the Orient Line R.M.S. Orsova.
